Place was full of little black flies, was dozens of them, had to put napkin over the drinks & at 1 point my grandson had about 6 of them flying into his dinner, wasn't pleasant

Visited Harboro for New Years Eve. Promised to be a great night - something different with Bollywood music, Irish dancing and bagpipes. On arrival the pub was heaving. We queued for 40 minutes, but the food was very good. When the Irish dancers came on a steward asked us to stand back and form a tunnel so they could dance from the new build through into the main pub. There were not enough staff to relay this message and most people rushed through, blocking the dancers in and meaning a lot of people behind couldn’t see them. The same thing happened when the bagpipes started. I think that too many tickets were sold and health and safety guidelines compromised. Also there were not enough staff for crowd control or to keep the toilets clean.
I think it was a great idea which, with a few changes, could really be a good night out.

Went for a Boxing Day meal for a pre booked table of 6. Was told when ordering food there would be a 15 - 30 minute wait.
We waited over an hour to be then told they were very busy and the food orders were taken longer than usual. We waited for another half an hour to be told our meals would be at least another 30 minutes, which by now would make it a 2 hour wait!
Decided to leave and cancel the order. A complete shambles and ridiculous amount of time to be expected to wait.
Should also add they were only taking pre booked tables and no walk in's, so fail to see how they were so ill prepared.
Won't be back.
Avoid.

Great location and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful if they tried!
The room I stayed in was definitely adequate with a large bathroom, flat screen TV and hot drink making facilities but the decor could of done with a bit of TLC.
I would definitely stay here again though as the food and atmosphere was fantastic.
Also free parking available around the back of the hotel which is a bonus.

Just hired the garden room for a 18th birthday party absolutely fantastic from booking to the event can't fault Liam si and the team very welcoming and nothing to much trouble

Small bedrooms but has everything you need… lovely staff and great pub, amazing resteraunt… the food is above and beyond and absolutely fresh and gorgeous…. Can not wait to go back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our room featured a double bed a singular bed and a basic bathroom. The beds were comfy but we couldn't lock our bathroom door because the mechanism was broken...
Also the service isnt the best as they forgot to lock our door once they changed the bed sheets.

Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good range of room types to accommodate our group.
Breakfast was tasty, but over priced and took far too long to arrive.

A hideous place that I will never come back to. I met with some friends here on the 25th of June 2024 . All of our orders were all different and we all received out of date and spoiled food. This ruined our Evening, and we had stomach problems after. Be careful with their food because they could poison you. I don’t know why this place has a 4.3 star rating. For me this place should be a -10 star review.

Have been a few times to eat. It's quite popular with locals and probably wise to book. Last visited on a Thursday lunchtumw. Service is friendly but at busy times meals can take a while to arrive, so make sure you aren't in a rush. Food is fine with the usual selection of things like steaks, gammon, pie, lasagne and very good curries (they have a dedicated curry kitchen). Prices reasonable.

We have been to the harborough several times always had great service and meal but last night was awful waited 3hrs for food was told on arrival it would be 1and1/2 hr wait the place was too over booked had we been told when booking they had a party of 120 we would not of booked didn’t help that owner was in the bar drinking while staff were being abused well done to the staff who were brilliant under such circumstances

Great food, highly recommend the Indian cuisine as it's authentic. The best Indian food I've had in Leicestershire and that's saying something. Great place for food and drink at all times

Pleasant budget hotel bit of a hike up to the bedrooms which overall were well appointed.
